Solo Crowe El Rey Show

One of my good friends has befriended Chris Robinson recently.

We got invited to his show at the El Rey Theater on Wilshire.

It was an awesome show featuring lots of bluesy Southern rock. I found Chris’s band to be impressive musicians.

I was a big Black Crowes fan back in high school when their debut album “Shake Your Money Maker” hit the charts in 1990. To be honest, I’m not familiar with a lot of his solo material but they sounded great that night.

He ended the night with the Black Crowes staple “Hard to Handle.”
